So would I. I had a brief distraction in addition to the weather. I was intending to take a meter out in the field and report the findings but the results of wearing a heart monitor for 48 hours resulted in a quick trip through the snow to the VA hospital, a cardiac procedure, and overnight lodging in the ICU. I'm home and on restricted activity (not supposed to lift as much as 10 lbs.) Tomorrow is forecast to be warmer (we had 72 weather a week before the snow...) and I should be able to get readings, at least from the non-hinged leg's mount to one of the other leg's mount. At first glance it seems to me this will be a parallel resistance I'm going to measure with the two hinged legs connected electrically through the tower. The big bolts holding the hinge to the mount are way above my 10 pound restriction to remove (torque not weight) and I don't want to "bleed out" in the field by popping the plug they put in my femoral artery. I guess the parallel reading is better than no reading. If my wife will cooperate and has the strength or I can get a volunteer to assist I will take the two readings separately.

I ought to git 'er done tomorrow PM (CST.)

But seriously I would like to know what your ohm-meter readings are.
