Ditto to what John said....
Used my loos gauge on my 1/4 EHS 5/16 EHS Phillystran and Fiber Rod
guying material ,and in each case the loos gauge readings on steel or on the
nonconductive guy material were minute in there deference

For the fun of it once I put my Loos gauge on Phillystran instead of the
EHS leader and the tension reading was not much different, even though the
EHS is considerably stiffer. I feel that it is more than accurate enough
for guy wires.

As you tension a material, it becomes more rod-like. At the desired
tension they all looked the same to the Loos - a very handy and reasonably
priced tool.
