Note that the center conductor is a tube, not solid. Newer hard lines
are built that way -- copper is expensive, and a tubular center uses
less copper and weighs a bit less.
Remember -- ANY product has many characteristics. A good engineer buys
the product with the characteristics needed for any given project that
has the needed reliability at the best price.
