Cut the bad section, then get a piece of boom to slide over the good section.
Finally slide the other boom section into the new extension.
It can be done with outer extension, inner, or both.

It is more difficult to explain that it really is...

Hi, all.

Working on an used antenna over the weekend, I came across a boom section that
was out-of-round enough such that the other boom section would not slide in to.
It is faintly discernible to the human eye.

How would one go about correcting it?

Thanks & 73,

Kim - WG8S
