I used to have a piece of 1-1/2 inch pipe in a floor flange fastened in the
middle of a "hog pan" (picture a pie pan about 20" in diameter and 4 inches
deep). Worked great for holding the rotator for assembly or disassembly and
catching bearings and other small parts.
