After coming in second place last time around (how??) I realized I could
only go down. On QSO #4 my (usually) trusty CMOS Super Keyer II starting
sending an infinite string of dashes (sorry to whoever had to put up with
that), and in retrospect I should just have sent everything by hand, but
instead I opened up the box and cycled the power, close up the box again,
program the exchanges (lots of errors) and QSO #6 was almost half an hour
into the contest, ack. Actually, that meant I could just enjoy the rest
of the time, so I did. Never left 40m, never heard my name come back,
passed on a Hercule that came back with an "s" on the end an hour later.
Ended with a paltry 96 Qs (got #180 fromn N2NC for my last one, eek).
Emitted a lot of unanswered CQs, and didn't feel very loud. There sure
were some big signals for 150w maximum.

Thanks to all for the fun, see you in the next one -
