The bands were so bad to start (sounded like 6M during most VHF contests) I was
going to quit at noon but for some reason after a couple of hour off I came back
to find 20 and 40 really open. I tried to take a break after that put the
pileups kept me operating. I think I hit around 140/hour for a while.
