G3RZP says : I've never had success with ferrite beads as parasitic
suppressors in tube PA's, either. One place I worked had used them
successfully on a PA with 3 off 6146. Then the manufacturer changed the
mix, and the tx had to change to 47 ohm 1 watt carbons with about 5
turns ion parallel.

Strangely enough, I've also never had repeatable  success with them as
parasitic suppressors on dual gate MOSFETS, either. 

As other people appear, or at least claim, to have made them work, I
guess it's just me.
