[Amps] Tuned Input Lead length

I am installing a homebrew relay switched tuned input
in my Swan Mark 1.  I know it is a good practice to
keep the coax lengths between the cathodes and the
tuned input as short as possible.  What would be the
maximum length a person could use before it is a real
problem?
