[Amps] Alpha releases New Amp 9500

If Alpha furnishes the new amplifier with USB interface then anyone trying  
to use an older computer is screwed. At least with the RS232/serial/comport all 
 users have a way to control the unit. They made exactly the correct  
decision.

I  emailed Alpha about 6 months ago about the 87A and suggested that the  
serial port is essentially obsolete and should be replaced with a more  
up-to-date port.  The reply was "Thank you for your input.  We  are 
discontinuing the 87A line."

A bit disappointing that the  serial port is still in the newer  design.
