I saw a 160-40 meter cathode driven AB1 linear using a 3CX3000A7 with the 
grid at chassis ground and no tuned input.  I also noticed no parasitic 
suppressor.  At the time I forgot to inquire about stability.

Does anyone have SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE with this configuration?  I know just 
about everyone will say use a suppressor, buy my question is asking for 
those with SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE.
