I've been searching the Internet for suppliers of transformer E-I
laminations. I've found a few, but their web sites are difficult to
navigate and I never did find the specific laminations I wanted. That
and most of them are off shore industrial suppliers and I don't really
need a couple tons of the stuff.<:-))

Hi,
What sizes you are looking for?
I assume you want to build a power transformer?

I have had good dealings with Lamination Specialties Corp.
in Chicago, IL

They are very friendly and will accept small orders but
they do have a minimum order size of 1/2 string which is
660 sets of EI lams.

I bought a half-string of EI-175 lams from them about a year
ago ( 45lbs worth ) + UPS Ground shipping for $177. The price
on steel changes all the time so they will give you a current
quote.

You can reach them at :

sales at laminationspecialties.com

Also depending on what you want to build you may need some
Plastic Bobbins to fit, L-Brackets or Keeper Lams which I got
from RAM SALES CO.
