I dont have the last of the PAC-8 dual voltage supplies, I can only get 5
out with 150W of drive for the 6M conversions. The higher voltage one
(around 3400V) came out long after Amp Supply folded. Cary did custom builds
and eventually went with the 3CPX tubes and the big xfmr and new PS board.
The 800C stood for Cary.

I have that original sheet. The FCC came down on Eimac and forced the
change. The original dual voltage PAC-8 was used after Eimac gave approval
to use on SSB at 2900V.

At 1500 out a 4-400 key down is almost yellow, I tried one at 5KV once which
was enough.I cant imagine any surviving long that way.

I also watched a pair of 4X1's at 10KV, that was another scary sight from a
rather well known Northeast DXer and contester.

Then there was the 4 x 8877's into a 3el 75M rotary from another guy.
