[Amps] To rewind or not? (3KA resonant filter choke)

Maybe what it needs is to be baked out and potted.  We have shops
around here (transformer shops I mean) that do that.   I don't know
where you are located but noisy iron can be quieted down that way and
mounted on rubber feet.
