Hi all. I seem to have lost my files with info on subscribing to the

Can anyone send me the addresses to which subscription requests need to
be sent for:

Please e-mail me at: mpfb8 at central.sussex.ac.uk
Many thanks, 73...Peter, G4BVH

Didn't think I was going to have time to get into the fray at all, but
managed to get in something like 10 hours. Single Op Low Power Unassisted
400 X 77 = 61,600
When I first got on Saturday night, the only band on which I could do
anything was 80, and it wasn't good - weak watery signals. Fooled
around for about an hour and went to eat the blackberries Tree was
going to hack Sunday. Got back on around midnight local and found 80 to be
better. CQ'd and even had people answer. Had about 320 Q's and missing
NFL, WTX, WYO, KS, NE, PAC, VE8, KL7 and KP2 when I went to bed. Got back on
about 2000z Sunday. Found N6VI for Pac immediately on 15. Went to 20 and found
NFL and KP2. Couldn't find Gator on 20, so back to 15, found N5RZ and WTX.
Put the beam to the west and found KS6H/7 for WYO. Swung the beam further
north and found VE8RCS. Heard NL7VJ searching and pouncing at 14020 and
followed him up the band. Tried calling him higher than the station just
worked, tried calling cq higher, tried asking him to go up, but no luck.
Went high in the band with the beam on KL7. Called cq twice and had
KL7/N7DF answer. Put the beam on downtown Manhattan and had Kansas answer the
cq. Heard someone work NE on a cq, but didn't get the call. Called cq
again and had two NE stns respond!
Interesting to work qrp ND station on 80 - If the guys in Wi, Ind etc
think they are in the black hole, they ought to operate a contest from ND
once! Also worked qrp CA station on 80. Didn't hear qrp Ward N0AX on 80,
but I kept my ears straining for him!
Heard a number of stations calling cq KL7. When I quit the contest and
went to see what was happening on the packet cluster, saw a note from
AA4NC who said "When it rains it poors - just worked 5 KL7's!"

ARRL SWEEPSTAKES CW - Novemver 5-6, 1994
WA8ZDT - Single Operator
BAND - QSOs
160 - --- checked 1810, but never heard anyone
80 - 334 FB condx
40 - 657 loooong skip - worked W. Coast at 11AM local Sunday!
20 - 207 OK
15 - 100 good Sat afternoon, only 10 new QSOs Sunday
10 - 1 thats it! listened many times, but nothing!
---------
total 1,300 - QSO's X 75 mults = 195k final score
Twenty-two and a half hours operation. I overslept Sunday morning. Still,
it is a "personal best" for me in SSCW, and possibly a Great Lakes Division
record?
With condx down and 10M all but closed, I thought this might be the year
for some lucky W8 to win it all... But the WWV #s for Sunday were SFI-75,
A Index-24, K-4 ... the condx up north here at the 44th parellel were a
little too depressed. Heard VY1JA say that he couldn't hear anyone Sunday.
It was a weekend of upsets .... George Foreman knocked out Michael Moore to
win the heavyweight boxing championship of the world
and ...
I worked more QSOs than either George, W0UA, -or- Randy, K5ZD!
had fun(?) ... 73 ... kevn - WA8ZDT
