[CQ-Contest] ARRL Plaques are out

With all the complaining that has appeared here about late (if ever)
deliveries of CQ plaques and certificicates, perhaps it is worth noting
when this stuff is done right.  The UPS delivery man showed up this
afternoon with some wood for me for this year's ARRL DX contest, right
on schedule.  (And yes, I intend to write K4MA a thank-you letter for
sponsoring it before the night is over.)  It's still October, the same
month the final results for this contest came out in print, so I think
this is about as timely as you could ever hope the delivery of awards to
be.  As a matter of fact, I'll offer the observation that the League has
ALWAYS been timely, at least for me, in sending out plaques and
certificates.  For the DX contests in February/March, you can count on
this stuff coming in October just like clockwork.  I think somebody back
in Newington deserves a lot of credit for being so efficient with this
stuff.
