I think you are correct in stating that this is not specifically
addressed in the rules. It's just one of those things you have to
know. K6LL/7 is K7, JS1XXX/3 is JS3. That's the way it has always
worked in the past, and that's the way logging software scores
it. That's the reason I sign /7 for this contest, I figure K7 is
rarer than K6, and it may have some additional attraction for the
folks working on their WAS. I remember signing K6LL one year, and
people kept asking " /7? " I wish I could sign K6LL/WX7, but that
is not allowed.
