I just answered this in the KL7RA to N2AA comment, but here it is again.
Post contest REVIEW is not "cheating."
Post contest CHANGING/ALTERING/MODIFYING of exhange date (esp the callsign)
is not allowed (at least not in the CQWW). When the contest is done, the
contest is done. Do entrants change calls after the contest? Probably. Are
they cheating? Technically, YES, even though they may not actually realize
it at the time.
If you leave in an exchange like KP2A08, then any log checker worth his salt
would not discount that. And if it gets deducted anyway, just let the
contest committee know (again, this is CQWW) and you'll get the points back.
But if you log KR2QX instead of KR2Q (who sent TU), you lose.
