I think more commonly the problem is stations on the same frequency, but
in the skip zone.
Happened to me on two different occassions in the recent NAQP Phone. I'm
calling CQ, someone answers, we give the exchange, but I ask for a fill,
and he says 73. Or I don't ask for a fill, and he gives one anyway.
Clearly, he was working someone else, on the same frequency that I
couldn't hear.
