As far as I've understood from the log checker GURUs
the LOG Checking program should act on a multiple pass basis:
i.e.
first pass
first qso will be maked as NIL (Not In Log)
while 2nd qso will be OK
on the second pass
first qso will now be marked as DUPE
2nd qso still OK.
So no penalty for you.
About the correspondant LOG, his first qso
(if he/she made a first qso with something like your call)
will probably be judged as a BAD or NIL qso
depending what callsign he/she really logged
with penalties, or may be a UNIQUE.
or he/she didn't worked you at all, so all OK.
the bottom line: Leave all in the LOG.
