[CQ-Contest] ARRL 10m Contest?

I can't believe this.
It looks crazy.

Contest Announcement says: 
2. Date and Contest Period: Second full weekend of December. Starts 0000 UTC
Saturday; ends 2400 UTC Sunday (December 15-16, 2001). 
As far as I know the weekend starts on saturday, not on sunday.
Then, 1st FULL weekend Dec 1st and 2nd,
2nd Full Weekend Dec 8 and 9th.
