Having been very active in NAQP for the last 15 years, and active in SS for
about 25, I feel I have a little experience in both.

Yes, Sunday afternoons can be kinda long in SS, especially in the CWSS, but I
can't think of a single contest I play in where the last part of it doesn't
get slow. Think about it. Do you have the runs on Sunday afternoon in CQWW,
or do you wind up doing S/Ping on 10 and 15 working PY/LU stations with some
JA thrown in?

Hey, it's part of the contest and it separates the guys who really want it
with the ones who don't.

One other thing, I bet back in the late 80's the guys out on the west coast
would never have wanted the contest to end before Sunday evening....too many
novices to work on ten meters. It sure is different in 2001. Leave the SS
alone. It ain't broke.
