[CQ-Contest] IR cans?

I haven't tried IR headphones, but I've been using a pair of
Sony MDR-RF940R 900 MHz wireless headphones for a
few years, and I like them up to a point.

They have signal fades, even at close range, but it's not
been a problem. It's nice to be able to move around the
shack, or to run to the kitchen or bathroom while
keeping track of the receiver during slow periods!

In multi-singles, I like to keep an ear to the action when not
operating, and they've been great for that as well. I can be
laying down in another room, and keep signals in my ears.

They've also proven invaluable when doing cable routing and
connection to the Beverage switch in the basement or at
the antennas. I can hear what the receiver is hearing while
making connections or adjustments.

I don't use them while operating in phone contests (no boom
microphone on them), but use them in CW contests as an
alternate when the other headsets get uncomfortable on my
ears.

No RF interference problems, although I wish Alpha made an
amplifier for 900 MHz to prevent the fading problems!
