Regarding generating QRM to SSB operations around 7050, I can offer one 
possible reason. Please note this is not an excuse, but a contributing factor. 
I ran just about the whole contest with my 250Hz filters engaged. In this mode, 
SSB sigs don't sound like much at all. When operating this way, they're easy to 
miss or ignore - making it possible to become a QRM source without any 
malicious intent.
