OK -

How about an update from....last night.

While most of you were watching the Super Bowl, I was flying US Airways
from Hartford-Charlotte-Knoxville, arriving home at 11 pm.
I did not take a carry-on bag on the plane.

In one checked bag - clothes and related travel stuff.

In checked bag #2 (med. size Tourister duffle) - a Ten-Tec #963 25 amp
switching power supply wrapped in bubble wrap, Bencher paddle wrapped
in a heavy T-shirt, clock radio wrapped in a heavy long sleeve shirt, a
small cardboard box containing my headphones, transceiver power cable,
several computer-to-rig CW keying cables, cables with RCA-style phonos,
my SO2R headphone switch box, 2 floppy discs.

#1 was not inspected, I think. On inspection when I returned home, all
items in bag #2 were unwrapped/unpacked and thrown back into the
Tourister bag randomly, bubble wrap and T-shirts stuffed into top of
the suitcase with nothing in them. TSA inspection card present.
Nothing damaged, but could have been....very easily.

"Flyer beware..."
