Hello,
just to get it straight: what would happen to my entry when I logged the KH6 with zone 22, K1xxx with zone 14 and all other qsos with a "wrong" zone, too? Would it even be possible to win a wallpaper without any correctly logged zone? I can´t imagine.
If true it would only be consequent to omit the requirement in the rules to exchange RST and zone - also one step nearer to a "young ones-format" concentrating on the fun side of high rates from which WWDX gains a lot of its popularity instead of troublesome "duties" like getting something correct besides the call. I would regret but that´s the minority position.
About the "important issue"-topic: I guess those contests will gain popularity that are more family-friendly for the big "middle-generation" between studying-times and retirement. 24 out of 48 hours or time regimes like in Makrothen are valuable offers. I don´t think that many running events for instance afford to offer only a marathon. They want to have also all those as participants "only" interested in running the 10k-distance.
