No, Mal, there is a difference. Normal everyday life is in normal time, not  
GMT.
 
I work until noon local Saturday, or, 1800z. That gives me 3 hours before  SS 
at 2100z.
 
This year, noon is 1700z. So. now I have 4 hours. Simple enough. That's all  
that was being asked.
