[ct-user] CT938 and Yaesu 1000MP

As my old ICOM 781 is getting a little long in the tooth I have been 
considering other possible rigs, the Yaesu 1000MP among them.

Reading the file Release9.txt I see that polling for the Yaesu rigs
has been reduced to 3 seconds. meaning I believe that CT938 asks
the Yaesu every 3 seconds for its frequency.  If that is a correct
interpretation, then it would seem that the Yaesu would appear
sluggish when using it with CT, and perhaps most severe the
band map feature which is terrific with my ICOM 781 would become
very slow.

Is this the correct interpretation and if so what necessitated this
change?
