[Fourlanders] June Contest Results Posted

OK....I guess I was working on a wrong assumption.....But, Jim (my son, WE8W) and I both discussed after the June contest that we did not hear K8GP during those operating times we were at the W4NH consoles working the 432, 222, and 144 stations and thought that was highly unusual.

Admittedly, we didn't go down through the logs to see what all had been worked and when GP was worked........when operating the W9ICE stations we are so accustom to using GP as a reference beacon on all bands that you get used to hearing them during the entire contest.

Ron, Jim and the Group,

The logs for June 2004 show that we worked K8GP on 50-432MHz. The log
for Sept. 2004 does not list K8GP on any band.
I think Jim was referring to Sept. 2004 as when we did not hear K8GP.

Placing 6th in unlimited is good news.

Cheers,
Brian
