Actually those things are all over the US.  It is an old AT&T microwave
site.  At one time I knew of a website you could go to and look at a list of
those things that AT&T is trying to sell.  There were several hundred if I
recall in just about every state.  The reason they are cheap is because no
one wants to buy them.  The reason, most folks buy property to build a home,
business, etc.  If that is the case a tower and concrete building are a
liability not an asset.  I suggested several years ago that the fourlanders
look at buying one of these sites for contesting.  I am sure we could find
one in NC or TN in a good location.  If there were ten of us we could buy
one for probably less than $5,000 each but the idea didn't catch on.
