Hi Jim,

   Yes, the website for the softrock is terrible. Your best bet is to subscribe to the yahoo group. It is very active. With limited time here a kit wasn't the best option for me. I bought a SDR-IQ. I have the trial of cwskimmer but just haven't got it working well yet. I ordered a frequency convertor from www.hsmicrowave.com so I can monitor 6 meters with the SDR-IQ. Seems all of DEMI's 6 meter stuff have been awaiting redesign forever. I didn't need transmit.
