[Fourlanders] January Contest

OK...count me in for 432.......and we can use my trailer again for that station.

I may have some challenges in Jan. concerning possible travel to AZ, CA, and possibly Scotland ......but won't know definite schedules until Jan actually arrives.

I will do what I can to influence decisions about travel dates to avoid threats to contest prep and contest weekends.

I was reminded last night during a double secret probation meeting (beer
and pizza) that it is time to kick off for the January contest.

The contest dates are January 19 & 20, 2013.  Usual times of 2PM
Saturday till 11PM Sunday night.

Once again we are planning to operate limited multi-op at my W4ZST QTH.
  We may put up microwave to play with if time is available, but I think
we should stick to entering as limited.

I know there has been some discussion during contest this year about
changes in band captains and I'm not sure I have all the changes down,
so whoever is planning to do the bands, let me know.

I am available pretty much any time, weekdays or weekends, for putting
up antennas before the contest.  None are in the air right now.  Be sure
to let me know which tower trailers you want to use for each band.
Anyone wanting to schedule a workday weekend, just publicize it and
we'll see how many folks we can muster up.

I have promised John Kludt K4SQC that he could borrow a trailer for the
TechFest which I think is the weekend before the contest.  We have so
many trailers available, I don't think this will be any impact on our
plans.  I'd of course, rather have all the antennas up by that weekend
(a week before the contest) so if one of you that normally doesn't bring
their tower trailer to my place for contests, would loan yours to John,
that would make things easy for us.  He has borrowed mine before and
knows how to use it.  I am going to make one for him eventually, but we
are looking for a mast for him.
