[Hooper] Edward Hooper and Thomas Hooper help please

Hello, I am new to the list and hope I am doing this the correct way.  I
have been looking around and have found I am linked to this Line of :
Sarah Marie Hooper b. 1847 GA
Thomas Hooper b. 1826 m. Elizabeth Stanton d. In Hall GA
Edward Hooper b. 1797 SC m. Anna Bowen  d. in Hall GA

But am confused on the Father of Edward b. 1797....I have seen it as Thomas
and Edward.  !  Does Anyone know which one is the correct father?  And do
they both link to the Obediah line???
