My son Joey (KC2TJO) and his friend made about 4 contacts on 20 meters.
Conditions were poor, a lot of QSB.  Stations would fade out before you
could exchange information.  After a few hours they moved to 2 meters and
made a few m ore contacts on the local repeaters.  Joey was happy to use his
own call and his friend had fun with the few contacts he made.  Has been
studying for the tech test for the last few weeks. Hopefully conditions will
improve a bit by the Next Kids day.
