The ARRL has fallen in love with Winlink, apparently because they think
it makes
sense for emergency communication. Unfortunately, I think it has
contaminated
their thinking about Winlink robot stations. This was apparent in the
recent withdrawn
FCC petition debacle. I would like to know where Rob stands on the
Winlink issue
vis a vis robot stations? Should the ARRL be endorsing a proprietary
standard?
I am guessing his opponent is in the Winlink camp.

Unfortunately, Rob did not include his email address with this
announcement, and
it isn't k6rb at arrl.net (at least according to qrz.com).
