First be careful! Don't let any slack build in the line which can let loose and remove body parts or worse.Others in the club have one and can speak to specifics.73,SteveW1SRD

Subject: [NCCC] Crank up Tower Advice Needed
#yiv1691674088 blockquote, #yiv1691674088 div.yiv1691674088yahoo_quoted {margin-left:0 !important;border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important;padding-left:1ex !important;background-color:white;} I need advice on what to do about my crank up tower. I went to lower it down this morning and it won't move. It's been up for eight months or more since the last time I lowered it. The tower is a TX-55. It does seem to go up - I turned the crank a few turns and heard the squeaking of metal from above - which is normal for this one. Anyone experience this issue before?Thanksde Jim -WX6V-
