In order for us to have a prayer of hearing on 30m LP
(at 30 deg azimuth) while VK0EK is working EU, we
would have to have propagation from EU to here,
in which case we would be hearing the EU pileup.
Too late in the day for 30, at least pointing east.
Nothing at all heard here with 3 element Yagi,
34' boom, at 106'.

Especially with the equinox, and the near antipodal
path, our prime times will
mainly be around SS and SR.  Remember, the LP is
only slightly longer than SP and it doesn't much
matter which pole you go over at the equinox.
The only thing that makes me think it will be
easier from the other site is the shielding
of QRM by the mountain.
