Sounds like a fundamental overload. These can be very difficult
problems to solve. Since there are no cables (other than AC power) to
conduct RF into the TV, it may be coming through the case. One solution
may be to move the G5RV antenna leg further away from your house. You
might try winding several turns of the AC power cord through a snap-on
type ferrite toroid first. If that doesn't help, try moving the
antenna, or move the TV to a different room, further away from the
antenna.
