Worked about 134 stations, 64 sections. I knew I wasn’t going to be on much, so aside from one good run, decided to just look for sections.

Interestingly, VI was one of the first ‘rare’ ones. I managed to break through the VY1AAA pileup, and snagged VO1, as well.

Didn’t hear PR, but did see a message from W9JJ saying ARRL wasn’t going to exclude PR from SS this year as a couple of stations did manage to activate.

Thanks to Steve, KL7SB, AK was an easy get, but I was surprised to miss SC, of all sections. Spent some time calling every 3-lander I could find but almost all were MDC. I was nearly about to give up when the last K3 I called was DE.

I do notice how great an advantage the narrower bandwidth of CW becomes when you have a smaller station. It not only makes it easier to run, but you can use tricks such as offsetting your carrier from his to stand out when you S&P.
