[RTTY] AA5AU Contest Notes now W3NR whining

Ed, you are killing me man. "Multi-something" refers to Multi-operator-something. If there is an SO2R class; we enter it. If there
is an Expert Class; we enter it. If there are neither of those, we enter Single Op since we are single operators. If there is more
than one of us, we enter Multi-op.

The only people I see getting a pat on the back in these messages are the creator of 2Tone, David G3YYD, and the development team
for N1MM. OK, there was one patting me on the back. That's nice and I appreciate it but it's not what these discussions are about.

The recent discussions of 2Tone and N1MM on this reflector have been informative and are aimed at furthering the skills of those
RTTY operators who want to be on the "cutting edge". The posts have been in the spirit of Amateur Radio that has allowed it to
flourish and reach out to those of us that hunger for technological advances in our hobby. And if you think for one minute that
those of us who run SO2R are not greatly appreciative of the SO1R guys, you are simply wrong.

Your post, on the other hand, has none of these qualities. It is negative and can be classified as simply whining. So whassup with
that?

What is wrong with this picture. Where do single-ops fit into this. I'm saying those of us that do not have 3 radios, 3 antenna
systems, 3 amps and all the misc items needed to run "multi something". If you need to setup the software for "multi something",
then you need to send in your log as "multi something".

And you wonder why the non "multi something" place so low in single-op category.

Guess you all need to just keep patting each other on the back......don't think about all of the real single-ops that gave you all
those Q's and mults.

Ed W3NR
