I'm ~40 miles from Warner Robbins AFB.

The USAF protested my 318 ft tower based on the fact it
would be in a flight training area. The FAA told me it was
normal for them to protest and not give it a second thought.

I don't know how it would be ten times closer, but it looks
like they have a standard practice of objecting to things
like that.
