I hope that you had a great Christmas and have a great New Year's Day as
well.

You may remember Eric, VY1EI, who has just started into contesting and was
in CW SS this year for the first time ever.  Well, Eric has become a fanatic
about it, which is good for the guys down south.  Shortly, he will have his
advanced class ticket and wants to prepare by purchasing a good used contest

amp.    Would you do me a favor and ask the guys in NCCC and also in SCCC to

watch out for a used amp in the 1500 watt level that Eric can buy.

purchase decisions relating to a used amp...  I know that this is a lot of
responsibility, but I do not have familiarity with but a few amps, and can
only steer him clear of a two of my own mistakes.  :o)
