Club: Southern California Contest Club

Comments: Just played around mostly afternoons and eves, S&Ping
 and did one small run of JAs
( Lord knows I don't need another batch of JA QSL cards !)
Don't do mornings so missed the early morning openings to EU both days
I felt like many Qs were like pulling teeth and didn't come as easy as
the CW portion
Few stations from Africa but did hear a Gabon stn but he couldn't
pull me thru. I need to do some tweaking on the 40-2CD for better performance
in SSB portion of band. Braking pileups to EU with many east coast and
Midwest stns in the fray
took good timing !

For the last hour of the contest I introduced a newly licensed General
Class ham, Tim, KJ6BWX,
to the world of contesting. Tim seemed to enjoy his short time in the
hot seat and hopes
to be back for some of the N6KI hosted Multi-Op efforts.
