Of all the contests in which I've participated, that was one of them.

 

Thought conditions were so-so. 10 Meters did not seem worth the effort for
what little was there. No point in wasting beer drinking time waiting for a
feeble contact. 80 Meters in the People's Poway Proletariat was swamped with
noise. So I concentrated in what was left. Once again I found the Yaesu
FT-5000 DSP and related controls were simply unbeatable.

 

For only 10 hours of operating time spread around family activities, it was
fun.
