But the operating systems do not simply differ by user interface (UI) so
this is not a practical solution.

Agreed

Me too - in fact since my previous post saying this - I have had quite a
few emails from Apple owners wanting to know how to do the same!

> My vote is for a Linux or Mac version :) hi hi!

lol - glad u added the "hi hi" ! No developer is going to develop this
for the size of the market while they also do an Intel platform
program - coz they just see their customer base potentially shrink!
However a keen Apple-owning software-writing radio-amateur might do in
future - would be nice if they followed Paul's design axioms used in SD
though! Imagine simple SD functionality and usability but with an Aqua
look and UNIX (OSX) stability & reliability! Paradise !

Absolutely agree!

(but I suppose we should stop since this is an SD mailing list not a
"favorite computer system" list ! Sorry others for the bandwidth!
73,
Jonathan.

p.s. when I get time, I think I will canvass both this list and the
contesting lists to find a group of Apple owners who would like to work
together (with Paul) to see if we can iron out the few things that stops
SD working perfectly under DOS emulation on an Apple platform.
