Unfortunately it is a no win situation on 40 meters when there is a major SSB
or RTTY contest. I think there is gentleman's agreement that RTTY is .080 and above on all the bands. There is way too much activity to fit in that spectrum and also 7050 and above on SSB. Too bad we have to wait so long for the FCC the change the band allocation.... It needs to be done now !!!

I'm sure the guy on CW was not intentionally jamming you Jon...  I have to admit I have infringed up in the RTTY part of 20 meters during CW SS to find
a clear frequency and all of a sudden someone will send RTTY on top of me. I 
assume that might of been intentional to tell me to move but I'm not sure.
Maybe the same thing might be happening between the CW vs RTTY guys ???
