The QRP Barbershop Contest has gone nuts over QRPp.  Read on and find
out
how this happened...

You know you're getting shaggy around the edges... time for a
"Shave-and-a-Haircut" (two bits), or as we say in CW, "dit-dididit-dit"
(dit-dit).

The QRP Barbershop is a cool, 2-hour QRP contest which occurs every 5th
Wednesday evening.  It combines the elements of a CW Foxhunt with the
down-home fun of a 2-hour sprint.  You can call "CQ BS" (now, that's
fun!)
or you can hunt for CQ BS's or CQ ESE's, on or near the QRP calling
frequencies on 20, 40, and 80 Meters.  This time around, there's some
extra
incentive to work QRPp, at one or both ends.  Makes it a challenge in
the
summer QRN, but if we liked it easy, we'd have a mic and a linear

You work every body participating, but you get bonus points for working
"Barbers".  This time around, we have at least 8 barbers.

QRPp-ers can get a certificate for working 3 Barbers; plus, you just
might
get bragging rights for overall score, because the playing field has
been
leveled for QRPp-ers, via our power multiplier.
