[SECC] Counterpoise anyone?

I have used aluminum electric fence wire for my seasonal radial systems, 
both back in GA and here in WI.  Last time I looked, #17 wire was still 
about $20 for 1/4 mile -- $40 gets you (26) 100-foot radials, which will 
work really well. I use this stuff for Beverages, too.

And at that price, I don't try too hard to roll them up neatly at the end of 
winter -- I keep the ones that are easy to recover and wad up the rest for 
recycling.

Next summer's project is my permanent radial system -- I have been 
collecting wire from surplus stores, hamfests, odd-lot closouts, garage 
sales and wherever else I find it cheap.
