Phil has been released from Athens Regional Medical Center and is
currently residing at Athens Heritage Home, a convalescent center,
which takes patients to be rehabilitated with a view toward
returning them home. His daughter Phyllis called me last evening to tell
me that he had been transferred to Athens Heritage (a very modern facility
which has just been completed and is very nice) and would likely be there
a month or so. I went out this morning to check on him and he seemed
somewhat improved, still fighting a pesky cough that has bothered him
since his time in hospital, but otherwise looking much better. He told me
how glad he was to be out of the hospital and to have all the tubes and
needles which he had tolerated for so many days removed. His new address
is: Philip Latta, Room 501, Athens Heritage Home, 960 Hawthorne Avenue,
Athens, Georgia 30606. He has not had a telephone installed as yet, but
when he is able to receive calls, and feels more like it, I will publish
the phone number. Best 73! De Pat Scott, W4NW
