[SEDXC] Best Operating Procedure for GQP

Hi all,

Here's another question that I hope gets past the censor.

I've been talking with some of you, most notably Mike NE4S about this
privately and I thought it might be beneficial to throw it open to the
group for discussion.

I plan to activate Pickens County and operate at least some on both
days.  I have only worked the GQP once or twice, in sort of a
scan-and-pounce mode.

My question is this:  In order to make it easy to find me for those
trying to get all 159 counties, should I set up on 80m, on maybe one
frequency with a NVIS antenna or similar, and post my frequency to the
list?  Is that a bad idea?   My goal is not to work all counties
myself, but to make this county available to those who need it.

I can't be the only one merely trying to "light up" a county that has
been dead in years past.  What is the protocol, best procedure, etc.
to make sure you're available to as many who need the county as
possible?
